On an autumn afternoon in Brush Prairie, Wash. Painted pumpkins sit in the shade of their covered porch. Inside, the picture is no less bucolic. Lines of hazy sunlight filter through the blinds in the family room where Robbie reads on a sofa with 9-year-old Madeline. Dressed in a long-sleeve turquoise shirt, stretchy black pants and baby pink socks, she curls up close to him. Robbie leans over and explains it to her. The Parkers lived in Connecticut, in Newtown, when their oldest daughter Emilie was still alive. A year after the shooting, Robbie, Alissa and their two younger daughters, Madeline and Samantha, drove to New London to dedicate the playground to Emilie. There, with about volunteers, the Parkers helped build a pink, blue and black playground overlooking the Thames River. In the months after the shooting, as the Parker family weighed whether to stay in Connecticut, the Parkers were forced to ask questions they never imagined they would have to consider:
Sandy Hook Exposed?
Only for runners or good mountain bikers September, by mystang52 I rode the entire length from Nyack to the end at Haverstraw on my hybrid bike. It became a quixotic quest once I started, but frankly it was not fun, and maybe dangerous. A couple of steep hills, but numerous other rolling hills. On the downhills easy to pick up speed too dangerous for the crushed gravel surface. I never spun out or fell, but I can see that one could easily do so.
But there also some issues that we need to keep the cards close to the chest.
Few people have experienced terror like Kaitlin Roig-DeBellis. Just as they wrapped up their talk, she heard gunshots from the hallway. She crammed all 15 of her students into the three-by-four-foot bathroom inside her classroom to hide from the attacker. She writes about that struggle for both herself and her students in Choosing Hope: When the children returned to school, they were fearful and jumpy at every loud noise.
Though Roig-DeBellis and mental health professionals at the school were doing their best to help the children adjust to a new building, she felt more changes needed to be made, like metal bars on the windows beside the front door, and a rope-ladder in case the kids needed to escape out the window. The administration refused, on the grounds that the ladder could be dangerous to students and the building was already safe.
She chose the latter, and ultimately resigned from her position. Roig-DeBellis now works full-time on her Classes 4 Classes organization, which helps classrooms donate to other schools in need. At the end of that school year, the class parents put together an event for all of the children to see their teacher again, and they were all delighted to reunite:
Trillion-Dollar Lawsuit Filed to Prove Sandy Hook Staged
The Danbury News Times reports that the school district had said in court documents that each classroom was equipped with a red emergency folder; in a lockdown situation, a key found in that folder would lock the classroom door. The News Times previously reported the folders have been in the possession of state police, and attorney Donald Papcsy last month got the green light to review the folders from the two classrooms at Sandy Hook Elementary School where teachers and students died.
He inspected them on Friday and says one of them was empty. An attorney for Newtown was present when that folder—which had been in substitute teacher Lauren Rousseau’s classroom—was inspected, but he had no comment on what he saw. The Hartford Courant reported that Rousseau tried to shepherd the kids into the room’s bathroom, but she, aide Rachel D’Avino, and 14 of the 15 children were killed by Adam Lanza.
The true love his family shared was abundant and all encompassing.

By Brother Nathanael Kapner Copyright There are so many unanswered questions regarding the Sandy Hook killings that it not only boggles the mind but inspires anger and legitimate outrage. Even Lieutenant Paul Vance, head of the Connecticut State Troopers, admits that much information surrounding the crime is being withheld. But there also some issues that we need to keep the cards close to the chest.
And what about the first responders? Why were they not allowed to enter the school until DAYS after the murders? Why not those with an opposing view?
Stretching and straining their little arms, and clamoring to get as close as they could, my students surrounded me for a big, group hug.
The calls stood for Kensington —New Britain. It is Connecticut’s second-oldest television station, and the first on the UHF band. It has been an NBC affiliate for nearly all of its history. However, during its first two and a half years, it carried CBS programming. In , only a year after channel 30 signed on, Hartford and New Haven were combined into a single television market.
However, WKNB’s signal was not strong enough to cover southern Connecticut at the time—a problem that would hamper channel 30 for almost a quarter-century. In its first stint as an NBC-owned station, channel 30 failed to gain much headway in the ratings, largely because television manufacturers were not required to include UHF tuning capability until Viewers had to buy an expensive converter to watch WNBC, and even with one the picture was barely viewable. By this time, television manufacturers were now required to include all-channel tuning.

Rose of Lima Church toll 26 times after Mass Thursday morning for the 20 first graders and six educators killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting five years ago. The bells at St. Church doors opened for special services, there were observations in schools and offices, and flags flew at half staff on the five-year anniversary of the horrible day when 20 children and six educators were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

New pics released from Newtown shooting But during that long descent, Lanza never gave anyone any indication that he would one day turn a gun on his mother and then storm his onetime grade school with a semiautomatic rifle, killing 20 first-graders and six adults, investigators reported Monday. And so Connecticut authorities closed the book on the second-deadliest shooting in U. Lanza shot himself at the end of his minute rampage, and police found no sign that he “voiced or gave any indication to others that he intended to commit such a crime himself,” according to a page summary of the investigation, released Monday.
Though he had attended Sandy Hook from first through fifth grades, investigators found no sign the year-old was targeting any student, teacher or other employee at the school. A video supposedly documenting that the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School were a staged hoax is full of misinformation. The information presented in that video was a mixture of misinformation, innuendo, and subjective interpretation, such as the following: In the immediate aftermath of the terror and tragedy of the Sandy Hook shootings, there was naturally a great deal of confusion among witnesses, police, and the news media about subjects such as the number of shooters involved, the identities of those involved, and the number of guns used.
All of this is typical in the crush for information from the news media, public, and relatives of victims that follows in the wake of disasters involving large numbers of deaths. In their initial sweep of the crime scene, police detained or investigated some people who were soon cleared of any involvement with the shootings: An unidentified man whom some children reported seeing pinned down on the ground in handcuffs outside a nearby firehouse was also briefly detained and then released when police determined he was merely an innocent passerby.
And all future permits will be limited to a select few.
One of the alleged victims in Pakistan seems to have been killed twice, as he was also one of the 20 children reportedly killed at Sandy Hook. During a televised report by the BBC of the Pakistan shootings, the reporter is seen walking in front of a wall with pictures of the children killed there. One of the pictures is none other than Noah Pozner , one of the more oft-displayed faces of the 20 children allegedly killed at the Sandy Hook school shootings, in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14, Bizarrely, Pakistani authorities, officials at the Army Public School where the massacre occurred and the media have identified the boy in the photo as Huzaifa Huxaifa.
Unlike Sandy Hook, photos and videos were shown of the dead children on the scene, including blood, gore, rescue squad members, police, grieving parents and a scene of general pandemonium. Many researchers over the past two years have felt that Sandy Hook lacked the transparency necessary to prove it believable and left many unanswered questions.
One of these people is filmmaker and author William Brandon Shanley.
